Project 7 Signac's Point Menu
Here is my redesign for the Signac's Point menu, with a new layout for being printed on paper and folded, as opposed to the original paper-on-canvas design. Let me know what you think.
Tom - I can’t wait to see this folded! Here are my initial suggestions (more to follow when I see this assembled and constructed):
The headings for “Soups & Salads” and “Appetizers” do not lead our eyes to the items in that section… instead those headings actually lead our eyes away from the items. Also, they look smaller than the other headings… which I think you did because of space issues. No can do. The way to solve that issue is not by reducing the pt size of the font, but in rethinking the design. The headings, in my opinion, should align with the headings at the bottom “Sandwiches” and “Sides”. Think about eliminating some items so the headings can sit just like they do at the bottom, with a good amount of negative space around them. Lastly – do you think the items under “Appetizers” are easy to read FR? I don’t. It might make more sense FL along that angled edge.
This has a really nice “feel” to it… just like the paintings.
