Here's the new poster for the MWCC GID program.
It's a bit of a different approach, but I tried to unify the piece with line.
I also made the header a pretty much singular unit created with different elements.
Tom – this is starting to look a bit like a Mondrian + graffiti inspired piece. Fascinating! Your next step is to google Mondrian and see how he divided up space, filling rectangles of color to balance his work. You have a problem in the lower left. Either do the graffiti thing better with the GID letterforms – or think about revisiting this with a more intentional grid – like Mondrian. I also see typos.
Coni, Thanks for the feedback. I too thought this had struck a chord with Mondrian, I'll look into that to see how far this is going to go. Changing the soft returns to fit differently must have split up some of the words, as I am seeing. Thanks for telling me.
