Carl – I was hoping you would build a more realistic sky. I will post a CD cover I drew in Illustrator a while ago… and it includes a night sky with lots of realistic stars. Drawing a more realistic sky will help bring this project out of high school and into college level design work.
Is the name of this show “Monty Tech Cruise in Car Show”… or Monty Tech’s “CRUISE’IN” Car show? The second one… where “Cruise’in” is spelled like that makes more sense to me. And is clever, not the way you have it currently used. Please think about visual hierarchy when you decide to style your type here… what is the most important (Cruise-in Car Show), and least important (time and place). Consider pulling most of the type down into the bottom black area (place a 3 column grid to hold it?), leaving only the most important information up a the top, large.
