Carl – this is coming along. I question the upper left CIV… we don’t get it, and the type styling introduces a very formal effect… not at all the concept you are using here. I see, with the logo and wavy line, a very relaxed, informal approach. You better stick with that, or you will confuse everyone.
It is important that you think about how to style a “list”. You have a list in the Skills section, but we don’t see the individual items, they are all run together. So – please decide to use negative space to separate them. Also – at this point it’s time to reconsider whether you want to use those icons or whether you simply want to list the web languages you know. Because the icons come with their own colors, which don’t mix well with you orange/black color palette – I would drop the icons and rewrite the last item in this section:
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Muse), HTML 5, CSS, Java, and Word Press.
Add/delete the items that are actually true from above!
