Here are three options, I have chosen A, which returns the center graphic to black
and leaves the texture yellow and blue. I feel it hints at mixing, given the textured type is green at the bottom.
B turns the back text texture to green, alternatively.
C has the text texture background in black, with the center graphic in green,
which was originally suggested at the end of typography by Coni, I believe.

  1. I like the top design best. The yellow works for me.

  2. Tom – any of these are an improvement over the multi-colored version posted earlier. But… have you tried to place a light color behind the Franklin Gothic and Blackoak history? Rather than change the “frame” of those areas to color… consider changing that background instead. Just try it to see what you think.

I just noticed, you may need a bit of extra negative space between the heading lines of “Frankin Gothic Fills in the Gaps” and “Blackoak Gets the Attention” – the lines seems too closely packed. AND, I think there is an extra space before Attention. Look at the negative space around these sections… it is uneven. Do what needs to be done so that both sections are “framed” evenly top, bottom, and sides.
