Project 4: Futura & Rockwell Typography Poster Rework 1

The purpose of this project was to take two fonts that work well together and try to sell them to prospective typographers using a poster showcasing the two fonts working together. We were to incorporate some information about the fonts and their histories as well, so I included a typographic portrait of Futura's creator, Paul Renner. I made a few minor adjustments based on personal preference and the feedback from peer review. Let me know what you think.

    Hi, The words Futura inside of Paul Renner's face looks odd to me.

    I usually don’t say this… but this looks done to me. I don’t mind seeing the name of his fonts in his face, especially since we see many different fonts. The composition and colors work well, and there are some clever things happening here – an example would be the dark/light alternating lines holding content for the 2 different fonts.
