Type Specimen
Here is my Type Specimen Sheet that is suppose to sample two different fonts that fit together. This piece was done in my Typography class and I put it together with using the idea Traveling.
Tatjana – I think this is very close to being done… but I just had a thought. What if the plane “nudged” the type in the paragraph near the nose? Would that not be clever? What if that element invaded the column of type, and the type wrapped around it?
I think it would be neat to have one of the shadow images bleeding off the page on the right; it would do a few different things. I see that negative space on the right as a sort of wall in which we are stopped as we move through the poster. What might be needed is another silhouette which bleeds off the page, allowing us to move out of the page and breaking up that box of negative space. The poster might balance a little better with something on the right with the plane already on the left.
