Hello, It is difficult for me to know what I am looking at. I have an idea only because you mentioned your design during class, however I am missing something??
Carl – you have found a good solution for the keyboard, nice. Please pull the type out of the inside of the C, it really can’t sit there. Instead see it it works below the C and to the left of the keyboard. It needs to be larger than you currently have it now. As I see the reduction (thank you for posting that) I’m thinking that your line widths are currently all the same thickness – it’s time to consider using thick/thin strokes for inside and outside of the shapes you have. That’s the next step… so the logo is reducible without “filling in” in the smaller details.
It took me a bit to know what I'm looking at, I think if you wanna use a computer and the mouse and keyboard you need to fix your perspective because it all looks like a flat image. I do like your idea and I agree you should place the text outside the Chinese because it gets lost in there.
