Justin – why am I seeing folders and the dock at the bottom? Is this part of the design? I’m going to assume it isn’t. So – what would this artwork be used for? It’s good to think this through so you can move it clearly into a real world type of project.
Oh, I get it… this figure is supposed to be breaking through the computer screen. OK – I think there is a better way to do this rather than add the folders and dock. We spoke of using mockups in the last class… and this is one of those times where it will be important for you to use a mockup on a monitor. Let this be wallpaper, or better yet… a screen saver appearing on a photo of a computer monitor in some type of environment (child’s bedroom?).
In terms of composition – I think the “Wreck-It Ralph” logo is competing with the figures in the middle of the composition. Which do you want us to look at first? I would think the composite work and not the logo. So… you have a choice… either reduce the logo significantly or change the red in that logo… to more clearly become part of the composition. If it used a color from the figure breaking through the screen, it might not be in such contrast, and it would “sit back” a bit.

Hello, true: the logo is competing with the image in the middle of the screen.
