  1. Carl – well, I think this looks fun, but I’m trying to understand what I’m supposed to learn from looking at this? Other than having all the cartoon characters present and accounted for – what am I supposed to take away from this design? Is there some content you could add – like a subheading, or some small text in some of the white squares that would communicate the purpose of this poster? Show times? Little known facts about our favorite cartoon characters?

Style – some of the characters are surrounded by soft-feathered edges… and others are not. I think, at this point, more of them are feathered then not – so you ought to feather the edges of the rest of them too – to be consistent.

  2. I don't understand what this is all about, I understand the channel name and the characters but not sure what you had to create. For the style you could create more characters to add and make a collage.

  4. Carl,
I feel that the change to 11X17 has not helped you, unfortunately. What was nice about the landscape was that it reflected the cartoon network logo, a checkered landscape. From the original layout, I think I suggested that there just needed to be a bit more breathing room around the characters. As far as what people are saying about the content, I know this is aimed to be a poster for cartoon network. I am not sure what you can add for type to support this idea. One thing I do know about cartoon network is that they have special days of the week when there are new episodes or special blocks of aired shows. Maybe you can come up with one and include a set variety of characters that would be included, like a retro day. I see you have "Edd, Edd, and Eddie", "Dexter's Lab", and "Courage the Cowardly Dog" you could use those for a retro block with a specific name, day of the week, and time. Those are just my thoughts, I hope they help.
